A minibus provides the opportunity of transporting larger numbers of people in one vehicle. Whether for work, school trips or a larger family holiday or day out.
Caversham Vehicle Hire provides the option of 14 and 17 seater minibus options for your flexibility. All vehicles are clean and well maintained and all quoted prices on our website include VAT, insurance for one driver and UK breakdown cover.
You can hire a minibus for just one day, a weekend, a week or alternatively if you require long term hire we offer a competitive monthly hire rate.
This varies on the number of seats the minibus has and the length of hire. To get a quick and easy quote visit our website and us the Quote & Book section to get an accurate price for your hire requirements.
The number of seats detailed include the driver’s seat. So, for example, a 17 seater will hold 16 passengers and the driver.
We can deliver and collect the minibus to you home, workplace or school/college within a 10 mile radius of our premises at a small additional cost.
You need to be 25 years of age or over and have held a full licence for a minimum of 2 years
You can use a regular licence to drive the 14 seater minibuses but you require a D1 on you licence to drive a 17 seater minibus
You can only drive a 14 seater minibus without a D1 on your licence. You will need a D1 on your licence to hire and drive a 17 seater.
A deposit payment of £750 is applicable to both 14 and 17 seater minibuses.
Absolutely. Each driver must also be over 25 years and have held a licence for two years or more and have a D1 on their licence if required. There is a small additional charge for each Additional Driver. This can be added to your booking via our online booking portal.

There are various optional extras you can avail yourself of when booking a minibus. You may wish to consider taking out CDW or you may need Sat Nav or child seats. These options are available to select via our online booking portal on our website.
No. However, do bear in mind a valeting charge may be withheld from your deposit if the minibus is returned in a very dirty state internally i.e seats stained.
Please ensure all personal belongings are removed from the minibus. If you return during office hours the minibus will be checked in during your presence and the damage report signed off. If you return out of hours a member of our team will check the vehicle in when the office re-opens. Your deposit payment will then be processed appropriately and your Hire Agreement closed down.
